December 2004 placed onto MA Coastal Zone Management (CMZ) "wetlands restoration priority list".

This is a multi year project it will take time to insure we have the right solution

Recognizing need to involve community from start of project and to insure open lines of communication

Invited stake holders to join a committee to decide on what restoration efforts for pond and watershed should be pursued – met once to introduce everyone and suggest goals

Organizations represented:
Town of OB (shellfish and con com), Land Bank, Martha’s Vineyard Commission, Hart Haven, Felix Neck (MA Audubon), MA Division of Marine Fisheries, and MA Coastal Zone Management
